Men’s Group Movie Time

I am planning a “get together” for the guys from our Iron-Sharpens-Iron group and Men’s Fraternity.

Since, it looks like most of us are in the Escondido area. We can head to the closest theater player (currently Regal Escondido Stadium 16 & IMAX).

If I can get a head count I can pre-buy tickets. I would like to the first showing of Courageous (1:20 pm) and then head off to the new BBQ place on the corner of Valley Pkwy and Auto Pkwy. It’s next to the Family Christian Bookstore and Fed-Ex Kinkos.

I wanted to do a “Courageous” movie and BBQ lunch at the new BBQ place by the Family Christian Bookstore and Fed-Ex Kinkos. What I am realizing, however, is that the movie will not be in the theater after this Thursday. So, we have a couple of options.

1) We can find a location (like my office or the Men’s Fraternity room if I can swing) and show another movie. I am voting for  ”The Grace Card” on the one.  I can have pizza or something brought in. (give me a head count for that one.)

2) We can all show up at Robert’s house :-) and bring the fixin’s for a good old fashion man’s BBQ.

The movie can be the focus or not. I would like to use that time for fellowship and to catch up on each other. Guests are welcome. I just need a rough head count to see how/what we are going to do.

There are other options but those are the two I am open to planning. Lets talk about Saturday November 5 as the day to do this thing.

Give me some feedback.

Robert has suggested that his place is good and November 5th is a good day!
With that in mind I am moving forward with plans. I will have the movie “Grace Card” playing on the projector / monitor.
I can go to CostCo for the burgers / dogs / brats and buns. Donations are cool but not necessary.
Anyone else have any other suggestions? Let us know.
Thanks guys. I look forward to seeing you all and catching up.
